Our Mission

We understand that young people leaving care are at a disadvantage in many aspects when comparisons are made with those in the wider community. This makes the transition from childhood to a young adult the more daunting.

The purpose of our service is to provide a helping and supportive hand to young people in this situation. We know and understand how difficult the majority of young people leaving care find the process of self care and independence. We seek to provide professional and socially recognized and acceptable adult support systems which are specifically aimed at providing for the often confusing and complex needs that young people experience at this time.

Right Choice is committed to high standards in all aspects of what we do and provide while being fully focused on partnership working towards the best possible outcomes for All young people.

We provide our services within the Children Act 1989, the Children Act 2004, the Leaving Care Act 2000, Care standards Act 2000, Every Child Matters Outcome, Human Rights Act 1998, Housing Act 2004, The Housing (managements of Houses in multiple Occupation) regulations 1990, The licensing and management of Houses in multiple Occupation and other houses(miscellaneous Provisions) (England)Regulations 2006, Fire Precaution Act 1971, Furniture and Furnishings Fire safety regulations 1988 as amended by 1989 and 1993 All other relevant legislation which informs, regulate and guide the practice of looking after children in Public care.
